GET BACK TO FEELING
YOUR BEST.

Osteopathic Manual Therapy follows the theory that imbalances in the human structure contribute to and are directly related to the development and maintenance of disease. Because of this, treatment can benefit any person experiencing any type of discomfort or ailment. Osteopathic treatment uses gentle manipulation to encourage the body’s self-healing capacity by restoring proper mechanics and removing any obstructions that interfere with nerve impulses and circulation in order to allow for proper nutrition and drainage of the body’s tissues.

“We look at the body in health as meaning perfection & harmony, not in one part but in the whole."

- DR ANDREW TAYLOR STILL

Principles of Osteopathy:

  • The Body is a unit

  • The body is capable to self-heal and self-regulate

  • Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated

  • Treatment is based on the understanding of these principles

We are trained to understand the interrelationship of all systems of the body, inside and out. We use this knowledge to assess and address any acute or chronic issues. Treatment is tailored to the individual and their specific needs.

The treatment may include treatment on the fascial, muscular and ligamentous layers. Treatment is generally pain free and calming to the body.
